About Us

Dennis Blubaugh – Owner / Manager

 Dennis studied church music, organ, and conducting at Valparaiso University, The University of Notre Dame, and Syracuse University as well as arts management at The University of Akron.  He has worked as a full time church musician at churches in Syracuse, Detroit and Toledo and as accompanist for the Detroit Lutheran Singers, Cantare of Northwest Ohio, and Masterworks Chorale.  In 2002 he took over the management of  Musical Resources from original owners Stace and Sandra Stegman.  While devoting most of his efforts to the business of choral music, Dennis still continues to practice his musical skills as the organist / choir director at Collingwood Presbyterian Church in Toledo.

Jane Hamilton – Sales / Accounting

 Jane has a degree in accounting and a love of choral music that drew her to Musical Resources nine years ago. When not at work, she is active in her inner-city church (with an Aeolian Skinner Organ!), volunteers for the museum and the symphony, and spends as much time with her daughters and grandchildren as possible.

Jeanna Shade – Order Fulfillment / Inventory Control

 Jeanna enjoyed a childhood in India as the daughter of medical/musical missionaries. After moving to the States, she attended college in Florida where she received a degree in Music Education. Currently, Jeanna lives in Toledo with her husband, David, and teaches piano and voice lessons besides working at Musical Resources. One of her favorite activities is singing with the Masterworks Chorale.

Michael Becker – Sales / Conference Specialist

 Michael has been employed at Musical Resources since the summer of 2005. Graduated with a BS in Music Education in 1989 and a Masters of Music Degree in Vocal Pedagogy in 1996. He has 6 years teaching experience in Elementary and High School vocal and instrumental music as well as 3 years at the community college level teaching voice class and directing the choir. For the past 6 years he has been the Director of Music at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Maumee Ohio. When not involved in a musical endeavor He enjoys spending time with his 3 children, fishing, golfing or playing cards. Avid sports fan.

Rick Jarvis – Warehouse Manager

 Rick – born and raised in Massachusetts. I lived there all my life until I moved to Toledo in 2003 where I decided to try something new in my life and that is when I started work for Musical Resources.
