Requiem Aeternam is the first movement of the AIDS REQUIEM (1994) for male chorus composed by David York (b. 1958).  The entire work consists of five movements and utilizes three traditional liturgical texts in alternation with two English texts by the Lebanese-American mystic poet Kahlil Gibran (1883-1931).
