Fire is the third piece in a set of four SATB works called Elements composed in 2013 and premiered in March 2014 by Laurier Singers under Lee Willingham. This set of works was a winner in the IAWM 2014 Search For New Music Competition as well as the Vancouver Chamber Choir's 2015 Young Composers' Competition.
