A great Palm Sunday piece for choirs of any size or age, due to the versatility of the voicing: unison, 2-part, or 3-part. Harmony parts are primarily canonic. The 3- or 2-part version ends with several repetitions of the Hosanna theme, which come in closer succession until they join in a final, strong unison.
