An ostinato refrain with a Latin text that readily translates as My soul magnifies the holy name of the Lord. Sing it in unison with accompaniment or SATB unaccompanied, and add various instrumental layers on successive repetitions. Use it as a prelude before worship or a meditation at some point during the liturgy.
