Handel once said he would sacrifice all his other pieces to have been the composer of the lovely lyric "Eileen Aroon" (aroon is Irish for sweetheart).  It is here transcribed and arranged for young male voices, appearing in this edition as no. 2 of Two Irish Songs.  (See also no. 1: The Cobbler.)
